With 17 years of hands-on experience in veterinary clinics and a background in both pet and wildlife rescue (yes, I’ve bottle-fed baby raccoons at 3 a.m. and educated wide-eyed school kids on hawk handling), I bring more than just a love for animals—I bring a deep understanding of them.

My husband Shannon and I have been married for 16 years, and together we’re raising our spirited daughter Caleigh, our gentle Great Dane Tyrus, and our 16-year-old cat Alex, who’s somehow still the boss of us all.
