There is a quiet, sacred space between the life you’ve shared and the goodbye you never wanted to say. When that time comes our hearts ache for more time, more cuddles, one more walk. In those final days—or sometimes final hours—there is still beauty to be found, and love that deserves to be remembered. That’s where Gentle Goodbyes begin: with a gentle promise to preserve the quiet moments that mean everything.

These sessions are gentle, unrushed, and entirely devoted to celebrating your pet’s life. The are designed with empathy and care. I move slowly, gentle, and intuitive – always focused on your pet’s comfort and your emotional well-being. There is no pressure to pose or perfoorm. If your pet is tired, we rest. If they’re curious, we explore. If they need to be held, we capture that embrace. Every detail is centreed around honouring the bond you’ve shared. Whether in the comfort of your home, their favorite sunny spot in the yard, or a peaceful shoreline walk, I will join you in that space with empathy, respect, and the promise to see your beloved companion through your eyes. My goal is to capture the essence of your bond—the small looks, the deep love, the softness in their aging face.

As someone with a veterinary and rescue background, I understand the tenderness and complexity of end-of-life moments. I’ll guide you through the process with care, ensuring your pet is comfortable, unpressured, and at ease. 

Each image becomes a legacy, a visual whisper of the joy, laughter, and loyalty that shaped your journey together. These photographs aren’t just keepsakes; they’re a celebration of a life that changed yours.

You don’t have to walk this chapter alone. I’m here to help you hold on, even as you prepare to let go. 

What’s Included:

• A calm, private photo session tailored to your pet’s comfort

• Choice of location: home, favorite place, or a quiet outdoor space

• Sensitive posing and guidance—only if and when your pet is able

• A selection of beautifully edited images for remembrance

• Optional legacy products: albums, keepsake prints, or memorial artwork 

Every session is different, just like every pet. Some are full of playful energy in their final days, others want only to rest close their people. My role is to observe, to feel, and to gently preserve what matters most to you in this final chapter:

– A nose tucked into your hand

– A head resting on your lap

– A favourite toy held close

– A family hug under the trees

– The eyes that have always understood you

With care and experience, I help turn those moments to lasting memories: Not just of loss, but of love, loyalty and a life well-lived. Grieving the loss of a beloved pet is a deeply personal experience, and you don’t have to go through it alone.  

These sessions are given scheduling priority. If your pet is nearing the end or has a sudden diagnosis, please reach out anytime. I will do everything I can to accommodate you quickly and kindly.
