My Grief Philosophy

I’ve walked beside many people in their hardest moments  ̶ and here’s what I know:

Grief isn’t something to fix.

It’s something to honour.

When you’re preparing to say goodbye to your pet, nothing feels normal. Time warps.

Emotions collide. You may worry that you’re “not handling it well.”

I want you to know:

You’re not doing grief wrong.

You’re not supposed to feel okay.

You’re not meant to be strong.

You’re grieving  ̶ because you loved deeply.

In my sessions, you will never be rushed.

You will never be judged.

You will never be asked to “hold it together.”

I follow your pace, your heart, your needs.

If you cry, we pause.

If you need silence, I hold it with you.

If you want to talk, I listen.

If your body trembles, we breathe together.

I’m not here to cheer you up.

I’m here to accompany you  ̶ with steadiness, empathy, and softness.

Your pet’s life matters.

Your bond matters.

Your heartbreak matters.

You don’t have to grieve alone.

My promise is simple:

I will honour your love, witness your sorrow, and create photographs that help you keep what’s most

precious – today, tomorrow, and years from now.

I Promise
